Dodatečné úspory energie přináší použití vysoce efektivních motorů Super-Premium-Efficiency (IE4) (7,5 a 9 kW). To jsou elektromotory s aktuálně nejvyšším stupněm účinnosti, které Kaeser montuje v současnosti jako jediný dodavatel na trhu. Dalšími výhodami jsou interní řízení Sigma Control 2, velmi malá půdorysná plocha a přirozeně tichý provoz.. To všechno šetří náklady na energii a zvyšuje disponibilitu. V Německu je pořízení těchto kompresorů kromě toho možné prostřednictvím Bafa.
Efektivní, na spotřebu stlačeného vzduchu, orientované řízení.
Důležitým základním kamenem efektivity je interní řízení Sigma Control 2. To umožňuje nejen efektivní, přesně zjištěnou spotřebu stlačeného vzduchu a spolehlivou kontrolu provozu – nýbrž přes standardní Ethernetové rozhraní také připojení na nadřazené systémy řízení jako například Sigma Network. Vellký displej a integrovaná čtečka RFID na ovládacím panelu zjednodušují komunikaci se zařízením v kompresorové stanici a zajišťují spolehliné přihlášení na řízení. Integrovaná čtečka RFID k tomu dovoluje standartizaci servisu, výrazné zvýšení kvality servisu a prostřednictvím SD karty jeho profesionální zajištění.
Protože je v některých případech výhodou plynulá regulace počtu otáček, jsou na výběr také verze se zabudovaným měničem frekvence („Sigma Frequency Control“) pro 7,5 kW hnacího výkonu.
Modulový, tichý a se snadnou údržbou
Výhody nabízí také modulový koncept zařízení („stavebnicový princip“) kompresorů SM. Vedle standardního provedení s půdorysnou plochou pouhých 0,5 m² existují tři modely „SM 10, SM 13 und SM 16“ jako takzvané „verze T“se zabudovanou , tepelně odstíněnou kondenzační sušičkou. Prostorově úsporná, kompaktní konstrukce nabízí možnosti použití i v omezených prostorech. V uzavřeném stavu skříň zaručuje svým protihlukovým obložením příjemný a mimořádně tichý provozní šum.
Chladiče se nacházejí na vnější straně a jsou dobře přístupné pro rychlý a nákladově úsporný servis. Chladič a motor se chladí čerstvým vzduchem, což vede k nízkým teplotám motoru a dlouhé životnosti stejně jako nízké výstupní teplotě slačeného vzduchu. Chladicí systém pracuje s patentovaným vysoce účinným dvouproudovým ventilátorem se separátními proudy chladicího vzduchu pro motor a kompresor. Z toho vyplývající optimální účinek chlazení, nízké výstupní teploty stlačeného vzduchu, snížené emise hluku a v neposlední řadě celkově efektivní stlačování vzduchu.
