Proč je důležité zvolit správný polštář? Jednu třetinu života, lidé tráví ve spánku. Zdravý spánek pro všechny je nutnost, protože bez spánku není dobrý zdravotní stav, krása, zdraví a pozitivní nálada. V takovém případě, pokud lidé spí špatně nebo trpí nespavostí, nebudou schopni udržovat konstruktivní vztahy s ostatními, komunikovat a samozřejmě hůř dosáhnou úspěchu ve svém životě.
Pohodlí nadevše
Co se týče podmínek spánku v noci, měly by být pohodlné na maximum, a nejdůležitější podmínkou pro to je správná volba polštářů a ložního prádla. Většina lidí, bohužel používá nesprávné polštáře, a pak mají zdravotní problémy a nepohodu. Zcela se uvolníte, pokud vaše páteř má správnou polohu při spánku. Pokud zvolíte špatný polštář, následky budou nepředvídatelné, protože každý člověk má své individuální potřey. Jeden ohyb obratlů může vést ke snížení bolesti zad, v jiných více závažných onemocnění.
Tři zásady správného výběru polštáře
- Polštář nesmí být ani velmi nafouknutý ani velmi tenký. Podstata je v tom, že by měl udržet vaši hlavu tak, aby byla vaše záda při ležení na boku rovná. Hlava nesmí být nahnutá příliš nahoru, a ani příliš dole.
- Pozor na polštáře, které po pár týdnech ztratí svůj objem. Proto je třeba si na štítku přečíst čím je polštář naplněn. Většinou polštáře, které jsou naplněné peřím, vydrží déle než polštáře naplněné polyesterem.
- Trpíte-li chronickými bolestmi páteře, nebo jste po operaci či po úrazu krční páteře, jsou pro vás vhodné tzv. polštáře s paměťovou pěnou, ortopedické resp. anatomické polštáře.
Mnohé polštáře mají výšku 6-16 cm, a většina lidí se cítí pohodlně na polštářích, jejichž výška dosahuje 10-14 cm. Ideálně si vybíráme polštář takový, jehož výška se rovna šířce vašich ramen. To je ta nejlepší volba.
