V průběhu vegetace způsobuje neplechu výskyt mnohých druhů chorob a škůdců. Spolehlivá ochrana stromů spočívá v řádné péči, kde neopomínáme na pravidelné postřiky.
Jak a kdy začít s postřikem?
Na postřik ovocných stromků proti chorobám a škůdcům použijeme nejlépe 5 procentní SULKO. Postup: 0,5 litru přípravku rozmícháme s 10 litry vody a v období prosince až března, postříkáme všechny ovocné stromy. Tento zimní postřik je ohromně účinný s preventivními účinky.
Jarní postřik
Po zimním postřiku přichází na řadu jarní postřik a to těsně před kvetením. Tentokrát použijeme kombinaci vhodných přípravků, které spolu důkladně smícháme. Na začátku kvetení jsou škůdci vůní květních pupenů lákáni do rostlinek, kde se navrtají a sají, což neblaze ovlivňuje rodivost. Malé plody mohou dokonce odpadnout. Postřik realizujeme na začátku kvetení stromů, to znamená, když začíná kvést asi 5% květů. Proti mšicím, obalečům, vrtule, pilatky apod., doporučujeme Decis nebo Zolone (popřípadě jiný, ale vždy jen jeden z nich). Proti houbovým chorobám – Klarinet, Rubigan.
Postup
Kombinací přípravků: Decis + Clarinet + Ridomil postříkáme ovocné stromy, když přibližně na stromě kvete 5% květů. Další postřik provedeme o 2 – 3 týdny po prvním postřiku, abychom zajistili likvidaci těch škůdců a chorob, které se nepodařilo zničit při předchozím potřísnění. Postřikujeme opět toutéž kombinací jako předtím, jen do postřikovače přidáme i listové hnojivo, to znamená 0,2% Harmavit, čili používáme směs přípravků: Decis + Clarinet + Ridomil + Harmavit.
Natírání kmenů stromů vápenným mlékem
Ovocné stromy – třešně, višně, meruňky poškozuje kmeny stromů mráz, kůra praská. Tato poškození zmírní nebo jim zabrání natíraní kmeny stromů vápenným mlékem a to před příchodem zimního období. Vápno odráží sluneční paprsky a kmeny stromů se tak rychle nepřehřívají.
