Výživa a hnojení ovocných stromů

Máte v zahradě ovocné stromky a dosud vám hezky kvetly? A když chceme, aby nám pěkně kvetly i nadále, tak bychom se měli postarat o jejich výživu a hnojení.  Základem pěstitelského úspěchu kromě správného řezu je i to, abychom výživou každoročně podporovaly růst a rodivost ovocných stromů.  Ovocné stromky potřebují průmyslová hnojiva pravidelně. V předjarním období rozhodíme vícesložkové granulované hnojiva, jako je např. Cererit, NPK a podobně. Slepičí a zaječí trus je taktéž cenné hnojivo. 1 litr slepičího trusu promícháme s 10 litry vody a můžeme 1 – 2 krát přihnojit všechny ovocné stromky. Přihnojování však ukončíme do konce června.

Velká čas kořenů dostává živiny ze svých starších zásob, ale i z půdy

Hnojit bychom měli k tomu určeným hnojivem a podle druhu stromu. Na každý ovocný stromek je jiný druh hnojiva. Pokud mají naše stromy slabé přírůstky, nebo žluté listy, už to nám může být signálem k tomu, že bychom měli stromky přihnojit.  Základním krokem na hnojení je důkladná příprava půdy.  Máme-hnojit zahradní ovocné stromky, ty se doporučuje hnojit do hloubky cca 40 cm. Po zasazení ovocných stromků do půdy bychom se měli zaměřit na pravidelné hnojení organickými hnojivy, a optimalizovat tak dávky živin dusíku, fosforu, draslíku, vápníku, hořčíku.

Minerální či organická hnojiva?

Zažitý termín “průmyslová hnojiva” pouze pro anorganickou formu hnojiv nemá opodstatnění. V současnosti se průmyslově vyrábí i mnoho organicko-minerálních a organických hnojiv.  Při kompostování se působením enzymů rozkládají organické zbytky rostlin.  Kompost je totiž vlastně jakési domácí dusíkato-draselné hnojivo.

Hnojení průmyslovými hnojivy

Pouze tehdy, když je půda dobře zásobená humusem a stav půdní reakce je v pořádku, mohou být průmyslová hnojiva plně účinná. V podzimním období věnujeme značnou pozornost hnojení draslíkem a fosforem. Fosfor je v půdě téměř nepohyblivý, musíme ho tedy zapracovat tam, kde se vyvíjejí kořeny. Draslík je v půdě pohyblivější než fosfor, ne však tak jako dusík.
