Varná deska je plochá s tloušťkou asi 3-6 cm, osazená plynovým hořákem nebo elektrickými varnými deskami. Panel je nainstalován za účelem pokrytí desky na jakémkoli místě vhodném pro vás, ale pod jednou podmínkou, ne blíže než 100-150 mm od stěny nebo povrchu nábytku pro plyn a nejméně 40 mm pro elektrické.
Typy varné desky
Plyn – mezi ně patří ty, s panelem plynových hořáků různých výkonů, jež se používají jako topný prvek, je asi 100 až 3500 w. Volba funkce plynového sporáku je nízká, ale rozdílnost ve vzhledu a designu je dostatečně velká, to je obvyklé smalt a nerez ocel, hliník a sklo-keramické. Kromě atraktivního designu, moderní plynové panely jsou rozmanité a praktické.
Elektrická zařízení – tento typ zahrnuje panel, ve kterém je elektrický topný prvek, obvykle litina nebo sklokeramické.
Kombinované – kombinace plynových hořáků a elektrickým topným tělesem. Typicky je poměr plynu na elektřinu 3 1 nebo 2 až 2. Tyto povrchy jsou dobré, pokud nemáte hlavní plynovod a používáte plynové lahve, v nepřítomnosti plynu budete moci vařit na elektrickém hořáku. Jsou velmi slabě zastoupeny na trhu, mnoho firem je nevytváří, protože jejich poptávka na trhu je v podstatě nízká.
Materiál varné desky
V barvách a materiálech mohou být všechny varné desky rozděleny do 4 skupin:
Smalt – je nejčastěji bílý, černý nebo hnědý, ale občas se vyskytují i jiné barvy duhy, ale mnohem méně často.
Stainless Steel – jedna z nejoblíbenějších barev je vhodná pro téměř všechny kuchyně a půjde dobře s kuchyňským dřezem, pokud mají přesně stejnou barvu.
Hliník – velmi podobné barvě nerezové oceli, ale ve světlejším odstínu.
Sklokeramické – základem všech povrchů je potažení černou barvou. Modely některých společností – Kaiser (PG 4 VQ 034 ethoxyamino), Hansa, Zigmud & Shtain (CNS 25.6DS), bílý panel (Ardo PR 58 W).
